About This Site

Let me be the first to say hello and welcome to the IowaWorkingGirl blog! My name is Rachel Roth, and I am a full-time student at the University of Iowa. I am a completely independent college student working my way through school. I am currently a restaurant manager/waitress/bartender/hostess (you name it, I do it) at the fine establishment called Bob’s Your Uncle. While it can sometimes be a struggle balancing work, school, friends, family and so on, many college students find themselves in the same boat as me. On this site you can find stories and advice from myself and others who live life as full-time students and part-time workers. Hopefully you find my site helpful!
